LAHORE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN UNIVERSITY  

LCWU invites online forms for admission in Intermediate Part-I both in Open Merit / Self Supporting programs in the following disciplines from                              

1^st August, 2023 to 8^th August, 2023

Criteria for Regular Programs 

§  Matriculation / O-Level / Equivalent candidates are encouraged to apply for admission. They can apply for two Regular Programs and two Self Supporting Programs through one login / email address, if any candidate wants to apply in more subjects she has to login from other email and submit the dues separately. They will have to upload their clear picture of result card, fresh photograph and paid challan of relevant admission form.

Criteria for Self-Supporting Programs 

• Admissions in the Self-Supporting Program shall be granted on the basis of merit determined on the basis of Matriculation marks. Fee structure for the Self-Supporting Programs is relatively higher than the Regular Programs, details are available at the LCWU website. A candidate who wishes to apply for Self-Supporting Programs should indicate in the Online Admission Form. There is no provision of any Reserved Seats in the Self Supporting Programs.

RESERVED SEATS

• Two percent (2%) seats are reserved for the physically challenged students.
• Two percent (2%) seats are reserved for students applying on sports basis. District and Board level players can apply against these seats.
• Five (05) seats are reserved for minorities. They must provide their religious certificate at the time of admission / interview. Science subject will be allowed only to those students who have passed Matriculation Examination in Science subjects obtaining 90% marks.    
• Fifteen (15) seats are reserved for foreign students (Foreign National / Overseas). They may apply to the Ministry of Education, Islamabad through their Embassy.
• Thirty (30) seats are reserved for other provinces i.e. 5 each for Gilgat Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, KPK and FATA, Sindh and Baluchistan. Students are required to apply through their respective provincial government (Higher Education Department). Only those students will be eligible who have passed their Matriculation from the respective province. 
• Ten percentage (10%) seats are reserved for O-Level students. Their admission will be processed subject to provision of Result Statements and Equivalence Certificate (two copies attested from IBCC Office). O-Level candidates must have qualified minimum eight subjects including five Compulsory Subject i.e. (1) English (2) Urdu (3) Pak. Studies (4) Islamiat and (5) Mathematics 

SCHEDULE FOR WRITTEN TEST / SPORTS TRIALS    

• Written Test English Literature      09-08-2023    at         10:00 a.m.
• Written Test Fine Arts                      10-08-2023    at         10:00 a.m.    
• Candidates who fail to qualify the Aptitude Test in English Literature / Fine Arts will not be eligible to opt the said subjects.
• Sports Trial                                       10-08-2023    at          09:00 a.m.
• Physically Challenged Interview  11-08-2023    at         09:00 a.m.
• Hafiz-e-Quran Interview                 11-08-2023    at         09:00 a.m.

HOW TO APPLY           

• ONLINE Admission forms and Intermediate Prospectus are available on LCWU official website www.lcwu.edu.pk till 08-08-2023 and the admission processing challan can be generated from online portal and fee may be deposited in any branch of National Bank of Pakistan or Bank of Punjab across Pakistan.
  
  Important Notice : Online Payments (any mobile app, Omni, Jazz cash and easy-paisa etc) is not acceptable.
  
  
• Merit lists of eligible candidates for all disciplines will be uploaded on official website. 
• The candidate must bring original and copies of following documents at the time of admission.

1)    Hard copy of online admission form generated from LCWU admission portal.

2)    Paid Processing fee challan original generated from LCWU admission portal.  

3)    Three (03) attested photocopies of Bay Form / I.D. Card.

4)    Three (03) attested photocopies of Matriculation / O-Level / Equivalent Result Card / Certificate.

5)    Three (03) attested photocopies of Character / Provisional Certificate.

6)    Three (03) attested photocopies of I.D. Card of Father / Mother / Guardian.

7)    Eight (08) fresh photographs with white background.

8)    Monthly Income Certificate of Father / Mother / Guardian.

9)    Original N.O.C. with two attested copies (For other Boards, candidates only).

10) O-Level’s candidates must submit their three Result Statement and Equivalence Certificate (Two copies attested from I.B.C.C. office) at the time of admission.

11) Last date for Online Admission Forms is 8^th August, 2023, 4:00 p.m.

12) 1^st Merit lists will be displayed on Thursday 10^th August, 2023, 4:00 p.m. on LCWU website (www.lcwu.edu.pk).

13) The candidate who will not submit the fee on time, their seats will be cancelled.
