Students of the Department of Gender and Development Studies, Ms. Hifza Mumtaz and Ms. Faseha Khalid have conducted two training sessions on reproductive health of young girls under the seed grant project at University of Home Economics and Intermediate College, Lahore College for Women University. These sessions were conducted in-collaboration with Women Development Centers, University of Home Economics and Lahore College for Women University.
Dr. Uzma Ashiq ( incharge ,Dept of Gender and Development Studies)and Ms. Madiha Nadeem (Lecturer , Dept of Gender and Development Studies)are supervising these projects of students. This project is funded by the Govt of the Punjab and led by Green Star under their project of Khud Ko Pehchano with the support of IRC at LCWU.
Under this project, trained students are replicating training sessions on reproductive health in girls' colleges and universities.
