The YPDC Oath-Taking Ceremony was held at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad on March 21, 2023, and was coordinated by the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives in collaboration with HEC. 

The students of Lahore College for Women University, Lahore took oath from Prof Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives in the event. 

Dr. Sumera Sajjad Director Student Affairs along with the President Ms. Mariyam Waheed, Vice-President Ms. Iffat Abraiz, and General Secretary Ms. Nawal Rauf from the YPDC LCWU chapter attended the event. 

It is important to note that the YPDC forum places a strong emphasis on involving young people in discussions about development and conflict resolution as a means of ensuring socioeconomic inclusion and empowering them to lead social change in their communities.
