An Orientation ceremony for Pharm D and DPT was organized
by Faculty of Pharmaceutical & Allied Health Sciences on 01-11-23 in Iqra Auditorium
Our worthy Vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz embraced the event and in her address to students of Pharmacy & DPT she emphasized the importance of Discipline in ensuring success and a sense of accomplishment, she highlighted the significance of financial independence which is an essence to gain autonomy and empowerment. She further added a way to ensure maximum productivity by being present physically and mentally i.e. to live mindfully, focused and engaged in the here and now, not being distracted or mentally absent.
She appreciated the efforts of Pharmacy department in escalating their standards over time and motivated students to pursue their studies with full zeal and zest. After that Prof. Dr. Humaira Majeed Khan, Dean Faculty of Pharmaceutical & Allied Health Sciences addressed the audience and appreciated the contribution of Our worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz in uplifting the Standards of Lahore College for Women University and also valued the efforts put forth by former Faculties and dignitaries of LCWU. She actuated the students to excel in their fields and be helping towards others and how they can be beneficial to the mankind. She focused attention on the strengthened position of department by adding Allied Health disciplines and the role they are going to play in improving quality of Health care system. She thanked our Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz for her precious time she made for the ceremony and her glorious words.
Dr. Hafsa Afzal, Coordinator Pharmacy, invited Dr. Mobeena and Dr. Roohi for brief presentation of their respective Programs i.e. Pharm D & DPT and thanked the Dignitaries and invited guests for their presence in the event. Among the guests were present Dr. Arham Shabbir ( Director QEC), Mr. Hadi Iqtadar (Deputy Director QEC), Mr. Ghaffar (Director Finance Aid), Mr. Sheikh Ghayas (State Officer). Event concluded successfully with the Photograph Of invited guests and Faculty with worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz and Dean, Pharmaceutical & Allied Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Humaira Majeed Khan.
