The 1st Inter-University Theatre Festival organized by The University of Home Economics, was held on November 15, 2023 showcasing a dynamic amalgamation of talent from various educational institutions. Among the participating teams, the Siraj-ud-Din Dramatics Society from Lahore College for Women University left an indelible mark with their performance in the competition.

A standout in the festival was the performance by Areeba Khan Baloch from BS English (Sem 7) who is also the President of Siraj-ud-Din Dramatics Society. Her portrayal of the protagonist in the play "Muhalla-e-Jinnat" earned her the prestigious Best Actor Award. The competition featured impressive entries from several other universities, making Ms. Baloch's achievement particularly noteworthy.

The play, "Muhalla-e-Jinnat," presented by the Siraj-ud-Din Dramatics Society, evidently resonated with the audience and the judging panel, winning best actor trophy and a participation shield.
