Students of the Department of Gender and Development Studies organized an extension lecture on "Women & Media, Women, Peace & Security" at the Women Development Centre, LCWU, in collaboration with the Women Development Department, Government of the Punjab. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Salman Abid (Political Analyst & Columnist, Public Policy Advisor). In his lecture, he shared the important aspects, facts and role of the media in Pakistan. He also talked about the influence and difference between objectification and empowerment of women through the media industry.
