The worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz convened a meeting today with  Dr. Mushtq Ahmad Mangt, Vice-President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, National Director, Alkhidmat Volunteer Management department and CEO Textile Pakistan regarding provision of facilitations to outstanding players and needy students of LCWU. Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz appreciated the efforts made by Alkidmat foundation to serve the community and she discussed overall progress of LCWU in the field of sports and briefed about current incentives offered by the University to promote sports among students.

Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad promised to provide maximum support in the form of plantation in Kala Shah kako Campus in spring season, provision of necessary support for  development of sports infrastructure, provision of sponsorships as co-organizer of sports festival/events for fund raising in LCWU. Ms. Sumera Sattar, Director Sports LCWU briefed about current sports achievements and challenges that athletes face to sustain their victory and to maintain the ranking. Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz advised Director Sports to make a tentative proposal to get support from the foundation. Mr. Wisal Ahmad Khan, Head Alkhidmat Sports Club also attended the meeting.
