Women Development Centre in collaboration with CIRCLE - Women Association and Department of Gender and Development Studies arranged a 4 days training from 2nd - 5th October, 2023 on " Digital Marketing" for the students under the leadership of Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, and guidance of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
The inaugural session was held at Women Development Centre, LCWU, and was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Mr. Sajjad Ahmad, Director Women Development Department, Government of the Punjab, Ms. Nabeela Yaqoob, Outreach Manager of CIRCLE- Women Association, Dr. Uzma Ashiq Khan, In-charge Department of Gender and Development Studies, faculty and students of Department of Gender and Development Studies. The guests met with Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz and highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and digital marketing as it is an empowering platform that nurtures and elevates female entrepreneurs to new heights.
Ms. Mariam Altaf, the trainer from CIRCLE - Women Association, trained students in different skills related to digital marketing. Students enthusiastically participated in the training, shared their business ideas, and were willing to inculcate the learned skills in their ventures.
