Department of Economics, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) and Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) signed a MoU on 9th October 2023. On this occasion, Mr. Kashif Anwar, President Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Mr. Zafar Mehmood Chaudhry, Senior Vice President LCCI were present along with Ms. Fariha Younis.

Professor Dr. Shagufta Naz, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Professor and Dr. Samia Nasreen, Chairperson Economics Department attended the ceremony along with their faculty.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Shagufta Naz stressed that the cooperation between LCWU and LCCI marks a notable milestone for both academic and industrial improvement in Lahore.

Under the terms of the Memorandum, the two institutions pledge to joint initiatives that will include research, inventions and educational programs.
