A Seminar on Breast Cancer: Therapeutic and Nutritional Management" was organized by the Department of Pharmacology, Institute of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmaceutical and Allied Health Sciences in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in collaboration with Shalamar Hospital to impart knowledge about therapeutic management to Pharmacy students from an Oncologist's perspective.

Dr. Jawayria Sajid, Consultant Medical Oncologist delivered an insightful talk about breast cancer management at different stages of disease. Dr. Faiza Kamal, Senior Dietitian provided the importance of diet in cancer. Shalamar Hospital provides free mammography service every year in the month of October for 40 and above females.
