4th April 2024: A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) and the Religion and Business Organizations Research Cell (RBORC), University of the Punjab. This milestone event was conducted under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, the Vice Chancellor of LCWU.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdullah, Director of SZIC; Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmad Gondal, Member of the Advisory Committee at RBORC/SZIC; Muhammad Asif Waseem, Administrator at RBORC from Punjab University; and representatives from LCWU Dr. Faiza Saleem, Director of ORIC; Dr. Maria Anjum, Director of K-BIC; and Dr. Neelma Munir, Focal Person, along with members from ORIC, K-BIC, and the Islamic Studies Department attended the session.
The MOU symbolizes a collaborative effort to foster academic, professional, and developmental initiatives between LCWU and Punjab University. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to offer scholarships, organize joint conferences and workshops, provide earning opportunities guided by religious principles, and facilitate the sharing of infrastructure and resources. The collective endeavors outlined in the MOU seek holistic development of communities associated with LCWU and Punjab University, reflecting a commitment to academic excellence and social progress.
