Dr. Michael Barber's, HESSA official visited LCWU on Friday 26th April 2024. He had a detailed session with the Strategic Planning Team of LCWU. The session was chaired by the worthy Vice Chancellor of LCWU Prof Dr Shagufta Naz. She welcomed Dr. Barber and introduced all the members of strategic planning team of LCWU and also briefed him about the progress of strategic planning process at LCWU. The meeting attended by all team members Prof Dr Uzma Quraishi, Dean Faculty of Education; Prof Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences; Prof Dr Attique ur Rehman, Chairperson City and Regional Planning; Dr. Sumaira Sajjad Director Student Affairs; Mr. Abdul Ghaffar, Director University Advancement & Financial Aid, Mr. Baber Ali Khan, Registrar; Ms. Mehreen Altaf Secretary to Vice Chancellor at LCWU.

 

Prof Dr Uzma Quraishi, overall focal person of HESSA project at LCWU updated about the strategic planning process and highlights its achievments.

 

Ms. Mehreen Altaf Secretary to VC LCWU / Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) focal person of HESSA project gave detailed presentation to HESSA official. She shared Vision and mission 2040 of LCWU. She also briefed about the proposed Academic plan, Financial plan, Infrastructural development plan, Student Engagement plan and Facilitation plan of the varsity prepared by the members of the Committee.

 

All the plans were really appreciated by the HESSA official. Dr. Barber acknowledge the sincere efforts and hard work of HESSA Core Planning Team for the development of the University. He also shared some suggestions for the improvement of the proposed plans.

 

The meeting ended with the vote of thanks of the worthy Vice Chancellor to HESSA official and all members of HESSA Planning Team. Dr. Barber also paid a visit to History Museum of LCWU. He really appreciated this great initiative of the varsity.
