The Center for Career Counseling and Job Placement (CCJP) and Khadija Tul Kubra Business Incubation Center (K-BIC) , in collaboration with HULT Prize LCWU , conducted an awareness session titled " Banking of Equality " on February 20, 2024. The session aimed to highlight the innovative initiatives led by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) towards financial inclusion, with a specific focus on empowering female entrepreneurs.Ms. Rida Sohail, Manager of CCJP and Ms. Farah Saleem, HR Officer at K-BIC, provided insights into their respective departments' roles and opportunities for personal and professional growth of the students. Ms. Kinza Mukhtar, Campus Director of HULT Prize LCWU, highlighted the innovative programs offered by HULT Prize, encouraging attendees to engage in entrepreneurship and the HULT Prize competition. The event was hosted by Ms. Nadia Tahir (K-BIC), setting a welcoming atmosphere for the participants.
The focal point of the seminar was a discussion led by Mr. Muhammad Tahir, Senior Joint Director and Mr. Zain-ul-Abideen, Assistant Chief Manager from the State Bank of Pakistan, focusing on the significance of financial literacy and inclusion for female entrepreneurs. They outlined the strategic pillars of the "Banking on Equality" policy, loan schemes, and SBP's efforts towards fostering financial empowerment.
