Department of Gender and Development Studies, LCWU under the supervision of Dr Uzma Ashiq Khan organized a seminar and poster competition on the theme of “Let’s Join Hands to end the Harmful Practices of Child Marriage” in collaboration with National Commission on the Status of Women, Group Development Pakistan Bardasht Organization and UNFPA at LCWU on 3rd June 2024. As our honorable Guest of Honor Ms. Nilofer Bakhtiar (Chairperson, NCSW), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Dean FASS-LCWU, representatives of collaborative partners, lawyers, heads and faculty of various departments and students attended this seminar. This event was successfully conducted under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, Vice Chancellor, LCWU.
