A seminar on "“Influence of Arabic Language and Culture on Pakistani Society” organized by Arabic Literary Society of Arabic department on 7th March, 2024. In which Professor Dr. Hafiz Abdul Qadeer from the Department of Arabic, Punjab University and Usman Abdul Nasir, an Egyptian student of PhD Urdu from Government College University, Lahore, spoke as guest speakers. Dr. Qurattulain Tahirah highlighted the need and importance of the seminar and its background. Dr. Faleeha Zohra Kazmi, Dean Faculty of Islamic and Oriental Learning, and Dr. Arham Shabbir, Director Academic planning LCWU,Lahore attended the seminar as chief guests.Later, the students of the Arabic department represented the Arab culture through the clothes and food of the Arab world and presented the food of different Arab countries in a traditional way.

At the end of the function, prizes and certificates were awarded to the students who won positions in various competitions organized by the society. Certificates and cash prizes were also given to the students who prepared Arabic food stalls.

Other faculty members of the university also expressed interest in the event and appreciated the positive activities taking place in the Arabic department.
