First-ever Society Fair was held at Lahore College for Women University under the auspices of the Directorate of Student Affairs on the 15th of May 2024. The event commenced with the esteemed presence of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz, who inaugurated it as the Chief Guest. The event provided an excellent platform for student societies to present their activities, recruit new members, and engage with the wider student community. Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to explore various booths set up by student societies, each offering unique insights into their mission, objectives, and upcoming events. From cultural and academic societies to sports clubs and volunteer organizations, there was something for everyone at the fair.

Registration drives conducted by the societies yielded promising results, with many students signing up to become active members. Overall, the Society Fair exemplified the vibrant spirit of student engagement and community involvement at LCWU and reaffirmed the university's commitment to fostering a dynamic and inclusive campus environment. Additionally, it is important to mention the diligent efforts of the Executive Student Council who worked tirelessly to ensure the event's success, under the guidance of the Director Student Affairs, Dr Sumera Sajjad.
