On 10th September 2024, Lahore College for Women University hosted the launch of the Pak Lifesaver Program in collaboration with Rescue 1122, marking World First Aid Week. Thousands of students were trained in CPR and bleeding control by Rescue 1122’s Community Safety Wing over three days. LCWU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi expressed pride in the university’s role in this initiative. The event was attended by senior officials, including Health Minister Khawaja Salman and Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, who commended the program's success and promised its expansion across Punjab.
