On September 19, 2024, the Arabic Literary Society hosted a seminar titled "Women's Contribution to Society in the Light of Seerat-un-Nabi (S.A.W)." The esteemed guest speaker was Professor Dr. Hamid Ashraf Hamdani, Chairman of the Arabic Department at Punjab University.
Dr. Hamdani, in his insightful address, highlighted the significant roles played by women in various fields during the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) era, including business, academia, the military, and as dedicated housewives. He presented these exemplary women as inspiring figures and a source of motivation for contemporary women.
The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers and students of the Arabic Department, led by Dr. Quratul Ain Tahira. Moreover, faculty and students from other departments also actively engaged in the discussions.
