Students of the Department of Gender and Development Studies, Ms. Hifza Mumtaz and Ms. Faseha Khalid completed their project " Aghai" , which was related to the theme of reproductive health of young girls and part of the seed grant project.
Dr. Uzma Ashiq ( Incharge, Department of Gender and Development Studies)and Ms. Madiha Nadeem (Lecturer, Department of Gender and Development Studies)supervised this project of students. This project is funded by the Punjab Population Innovation Fund and led by Green Star under their project of Khud Ko Pehchano with the support of DFDI and IRC at LCWU.
Under this project, trained students conducted training sessions for students on reproductive health at the University of Home Economics, Samnabad College, Fatima Jinnah Women College Chuna Mandi, Govt Graduate College Gulberg and Intermediate College, Lahore College for Women University. For the successful completion of this project, the Department of Gender and Development Studies is grateful to DFDI, Dr. Hafsah Batool( Head IRC ) and Ms. Fareeha Anjum( Lecturer Department of Gender and Development Studies) for their support.
