E-Rozgaar and K-BIC LCWU collaboratively organized an enlightening session on "Digital Skills Learning and Business Incubation Program" at Iqra Auditorium on October 11, 2023.
This event was designed to engage both students and faculty members, and the response was overwhelming. One of the highlights of the session was an engaging question-and-answer exchange between the event organizers and the enthusiastic students. Following this insightful discussion, Dr. Shagufta Naz, the Vice Chancellor, engaged in a table talk with faculty members who took part in the session. Additionally, Mr. Ibrahim Zaidi, the Incubation Manager representing PITB, joined the session and elaborated on the PITB incubation plan. Academic leaders, including Dr. Saima Farhan [Chairperson of the Computer Science Department], Dr. Sadia Murawat [Chairperson, Department of Electrical Engineering], Dr. Muhammad Mohsin Nazir [Chairperson, Department of Software Engineering], and esteemed faculty members from the Management Sciences department, graced the occasion. Dr. Maria Anjum, the focal person for E-Rozgaar and Director of K-BIC, presented the event. Ms. Natasha, Lab Manager E-Rozgaar, also introduced the E-Rozgaar program. Distinguished guests shared their inspiring success stories, enriching the session's content. Members of the K-BIC team, including Ms. Nadia Tahir and Mr. Muhammad Yousaf [Business Development Officer] were actively involved in the proceedings.
Dr. Muhammad Taskeen Raza [Electrical Engineering Department] shared his valuable insights based on his experience with the incubation center, expressing his excitement about the upcoming opportunities offered by K-BIC. The Entrepreneurial Club LCWU also introduced its objectives and highlighted the club's diverse range of activities.
Looking ahead, LCWU plans to conduct more such informative sessions to raise awareness about the facilities available and how both faculty and students can maximize their benefits while also exploring funding opportunities.
