A project proposal of Dr. Asifa Kamal, Statistics Department titled as “A Step Ahead towards Diversity and Inclusivity: Facilitating Learning of Basic Mathematics and Basic Statistics to Blind Girls at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore, Pakistan” has been approved for funding from the Elsevier 2023 Mathematical Sciences Sponsorship Fund (MSSF).  The award of US$ 4,000 have been granted in the support of the proposed initiative. This project is the implementation of HESSA’s training received to bring “Equity, Diversity and Inclusion” in the department.
