Ms. Madiha Shah Director and Mr. Mohsin Iqbal Assistant Director, Directorate of Women Development, Punjab visited Lahore College for Women University on 18th March  The team met Prof Dr. Shagufta Naz( VC ,LCWU)and discussed  mutual interests and possibility of future collaboration by using the platform of Women Development Centre at LCWU . Prof. Dr. Shagufta Naz briefly shared the efforts of LCWU for supporting the component of women's  financial empowerment. Ms. Shah and her team also visited the Day Care Centre and Women Development Centre at LCWU. The visit was hosted by the Department of Gender and Development Studies.Dr. Uzma Ashiq Khan ( Assistant Professor, Gender and Development Studies Department and focal person WDC) briefly shared the activities organized by Women Development Centre at LCWU. In this meeting, Ms. Shah emphasized upon using the platform of WDC for creating and supporting opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
