The Furniture Design Expo was organized by the Interior Design Department under the supervision of Professor Dr. Massoma Abbas Zedi, a participant of Cohort I of the HESSA-USAID Women Leadership in Higher Education Project. Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Lahore President Mrs Falahat Imran inaugurated the three-day exhibition.

The crafted project, titled "Entrepreneurship Program," aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry for art and design students. The Furniture Design Course showcased by the Interior Design Department was taken as a pre-incubation case study for the Business Incubation Centre. The event was, therefore, a collaborative effort between the Interior Design Department and the Khadija-tul-Kubra Business Incubation Centre, LCWU.
