November 10, 2025: A workshop entitled "Boost your mental health through resilience; build skills to face hardships" was conducted by Dr. Tabinda Jalil ; Student Counselor/Psychologist. The purpose of the workshop was to enhance emotional and psychological well-being of participants that would contribute to their mental health.
Participants were taught key concepts regarding resilience and its pivotal role in thriving through challenges and adversities of life. Strategies for building resilience were taught to the audience and some real life examples of resilient individuals were given to motivate them for facing life challenges. Participants learned Cognitive reframing, mindfulness and other strategies to build resilience.
