The Department of Sociology, LCWU, successfully conducted the fourth lecture of its “Series of Lectures,” reinforcing its commitment to critical inquiry and sociological awareness. The session, titled “How to Protect the Vulnerable: Human Rights and the Fight against Human Trafficking,” offered profound insights into the mechanisms of exploitation and safeguards needed in contemporary societies. Distinguished guest speaker Dr. Farhan Navid Yousaf delivered a compelling, research-informed analysis of trafficking, vulnerability, and human rights frameworks. His expertise significantly enhanced students’ understanding of this global issue. The lecture, efficiently organized by Dr. Kiran Ikram and Ms. Komal Riaz Cheema concluded with formal appreciation presented by Dr. Asma Seemi Malik.
