Under the visionary leadership of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, ORIC proudly shares a landmark research grant secured by Dr. Saima Eman under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Amina Muazzam, Chairperson Applied Psychology and Director WILL. Funded by the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (APA Division 9) under the highly competitive Researchers in the Global South Grant 2025, the project titled “Breaking the Silence: Challenges of Adoptees/Care-Experienced Persons in a Pakistani Islamic Socio-Legal Context” engages five MS Clinical Psychology scholars, creating a dynamic academic training platform with national and international collaboration. This accomplishment reinforces LCWU’s expanding global footprint, research excellence, and commitment to socially impactful scholarship.
