The Department of Sociology, LCWU, organized an awareness session on the “Right and Erroneous Use of Social Media” in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Rights, Government of Pakistan.

The session highlighted the positive role of social media in promoting awareness, communication, and human rights advocacy, while also addressing challenges such as misinformation, cyberbullying, and privacy violations. Faculty members, guests, and students actively participated in the discussion, emphasizing responsible digital behavior and ethical online engagement.
