Intermediate Admission Notice 2026

REGULAR / SELF SUPPORT PROGRAMS

LCWU Intermediate Section invites online forms for admission in Intermediate Part-I both in Regular and Self Support Programs in the following disciplines:  

v PRE-ENGINEERING

v PRE-MEDICAL

v COMPUTER SCIENCE

v       GEN. SCIENCE

v       HOME ECONOMICS

ARTS (Humanities)

v       COMMERCE

Admissions shall be granted on the basis of BISE 9th class results, as per directions of the Higher Education Department, Government of the Punjab.

For Matriculation candidates:

  • Candidates who have passed their 9th Class in the year 2025 and appeared in the annual exam of the 10th class in the year 2026 are eligible to apply.
  • Students who have already passed their matriculation can apply for admission on the basis of 9th class Result. However, they must not be registered or have appeared in the Intermediate Part-I exams at any Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE).
  • Candidates after securing admissions must qualify their 10th class in the Ist Annual Exam of 2026, failing in the 10th class will result in removal from the College rolls and fees will not be refunded. 

Ineligible conditions:

§  The students who appeared in the combined exams of 9th and 10th in 2026 are ineligible.

§  Candidates who have failed in one or more subjects in the 9th class are not eligible to apply.

§  Candidates who passed their SSC in the Supplementary Examination of 2021 or earlier are ineligible.

§  Candidates who have passed SSC (Tech) are not eligible for admission.

For O-Level candidates:

Candidates having O-Level / Equivalent qualifications are eligible for provisional admission. Their admission will be confirmed after submission of their complete results and proper Equivalence Certificate (i.e. 8 subjects as per IBCC rules.). The College will register them with BISE Lahore once they fulfill these requirements before the Board Registration deadline. O-Level candidates must have qualified minimum eight subjects including five Compulsory Subjects i.e. (1) English (2) Urdu (3) Pak. Studies (4) Islamiat and (5) Mathematics.

Criteria for Self Support Programs

§  Admissions in the Self Support Program shall be granted on the basis of merit determined on the basis of 9th class marks. Fee structure for the Self Support Programs is separate than the Regular Programs, details are available at the LCWU website. A candidate who wishes to apply for Self Support Program should indicate in the Online Admission Form. There is no provision of any Reserved Seat in the Self Support Program. 

Reserved Seats 

v  Two percent (2%) seats are reserved for the physically challenged students. 

v  Two percent (2%) seats are reserved for students applying on sports basis. District and Board level players can apply against these seats. 

v  2% seats are reserved for minorities. They must provide their religious certificate at the time of admission /interview.   

v  Fifteen (15) seats are reserved for foreign students (Foreign National / Overseas). 

v  Thirty (30) seats are reserved for other provinces i.e. 5 each for Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, KPK and FATA, Sindh and Baluchistan. Students are required to apply through their respective provincial government (Higher Education Department). Only those students will be eligible who have passed their Matriculation from the respective province.  

v  Ten percentage (10%) seats are reserved for O-Level students. Their admission will be processed subject to provision of Result Statements and Equivalence Certificate.

Schedule for Written Test / Sports Trials   

  • Written Test of English Literature       09-06-2026 at 10:00 a.m 

  • Drawing Test of Fine Arts                  10-06-2026    at         10:00 a.m.
     
  • Candidates who fail to qualify the Aptitude Test in English Literature / Fine Arts will not be eligible to opt the said subjects.

  • Sports Trial                                       11-06-2026    at          09:00 a.m.

  • Physically Challenged Interview    15-06-2026    at         09:00 a.m.

  • Hafiz-e-Quran Interview                 15-06-2026    at         09:00 a.m.

Merit and Need Based Scholarships are available in the following categories for deserving candidates. 

  • LCWU scholarship
  • LCWU Hardship cases scholarship
  • Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) scholarship
  • Lahore Board scholarship
  • Pakistan BAIT-UL-MAL scholarship
  • MORA scholarship
  • Hijri scholarship 
  • Sabiha Farogh Scholarship Program for ICS students.

HOW TO APPLY

  • ONLINE Admission processing fee is Rs. 1000/-. Intermediate Prospectus is available on LCWU official website www.lcwu.edu.pk  and admission processing fee can be deposited online in any branch of National Bank of Pakistan or Bank of Punjab across Pakistan.
  • Merit lists of eligible candidates for all disciplines will be uploaded on official website. 

The candidate must bring original and copies of following documents at the time of admission / interview:-. There is no need to submit hardcopy of admission form and paid challan slip before the display of Merit Lists.

  1.  Hard copy of online admission form generated from LCWU admission portal.

  2. Original paid processing fee challan generated from LCWU admission portal.  

  3. Paid challan annual fee Part-I original generated from LCWU admission portal. 

  4. One attested photocopy of B. Form / I.D. Card.

  5. Two attested photocopies of 9th class result.

  6. One attested photocopy of 10th class Roll No. slip.

  7. O-Level’s candidates must submit their two Result Statement and Equivalence Certificate at the time of admission.

  8. One attested photocopy of Character / Provisional Certificate.

  9. One attested photocopy of I.D. Card of Father and Mother.

  10. Six (06) fresh photographs with white background.

  11. Monthly Income Certificate of Father / Mother / Guardian.

  12. Original N.O.C. with two attested copies (For other Boards, candidates only).

  13. Last date for the submission of Online Admission Forms is 8th June,2026, 4:00 p.m.

  14. 1st Merit lists will be displayed on Monday 22nd June, 2026, 4:00 p.m. on LCWU Official website.

  15. 1st Merit lists of Self Support Program will be displayed with 3rd Merit List of Open Merit on LCWU website (www.lcwu.edu.pk).

  16. The candidate who will not submit the fee on time, their seats will be cancelled.

  17. The Candidates are advised to keep visiting LCWU website for latest news and updates about the admission process.
