The Research Centre of Art & Design, Institute of Design & Visual Arts, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), organized the first phase of the art exhibition “Bunyaan un Marsoos” on May 7, 2026, at Naseem Hafeez Qazi Gallery, LCWU, Lahore, in collaboration with Army Museum Lahore, DFDI, DSA, and the Fine Arts Society. The exhibition was arranged to commemorate the first anniversary of Operation Bunyaan un Marsoos and celebrate the spirit of resilience, unity, sacrifice, and patriotism through art. The second phase of the exhibition was held at Army Museum Lahore on May 8, 2026, at 11:00 am. The event was inaugurated by the worthy Vice Chancellor of LCWU, Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, accompanied by Retd. Brig. Umer Khalid Chattha, Director of the Army Museum Lahore, and Lt. Col. Dr. Muhammad Shafiq, Deputy Director of Army Museum Lahore. The event was organized by Prof. Dr. Rifaat Saif Dar, Chairperson of the Research Centre of Art & Design. The show was curated by Anam Tariq (PhD Scholar), Afifa Jabeen (MS Fine Arts Scholar and President of the Fine Arts Society), and Qurat ul Ain (MS Fine Arts Scholar). Faculty members and students of the Research Centre of Art & Design, along with faculty members from Gulberg College for Women University, actively participated in the exhibition.The participating artists beautifully captured the theme of “Bunyaan un Marsoos” through passionate depictions of patriotism, sacrifice, resilience, unity, and national spirit. The artworks were highly admired by the audience and distinguished guests, who praised the creativity and dedication of all the artists. The collaboration between LCWU and Army Museum Lahore.
